Description

30 and 31 High Street is a pair of shops, originally with a dwelling above, dating from around 1800. The buildings are constructed of brick and feature a slate roof, which is graded to No. 30. Each shop is three stories tall and consists of three bays. Although the shop fronts have been renewed, the upper windows remain original, featuring sash designs with flat-arched stuccoed heads, voussoirs, and moulded keystones. The buildings also have a moulded eaves cornice and gable end stacks. They are included in the listing for their group value.
