Description

Nos. 15, 16, and 17 High Street are three shops with dwellings above, built around 1800. The structure is made of brick and has a graded slate roof. It is a single building that stands three stories high, featuring three wide bays followed by three narrow bays. The shop front for number 17 is an early 20th-century design, with moulded wood pilasters that support a fascia and form the architrave of the central doorway. The other shop fronts have been renewed. The upper windows are 12-pane, flush framed sashes, topped with flat arched stuccoed heads that include voussoirs and moulded keystones. The building is finished with a modillion eaves cornice.
