13/209 No 12 (The Mug House Public House) and No 13 22.4.50 GV II

Two houses, now public house. Early C18 with mid-C19 and late C20 alterations. Painted and rendered brick with tile roof, chimney stack in front roof slope. Two storeys with attic lit by four gabled dormers, band to left (no 12); five windows: three timber cross-windows to left, two 2-light casements to right; four windows to ground floor: two C19 canted bay windows to left flanking entrance with plain wooden doorcase, brackets supporting flat canopy, ledged door: to right two 4-pane boxed sash with stone sills flanking entrance which has a similar surround and canopy, and a C20 door, to the right corner is a semi-circular headed opening to an alleyway leading to Court no 1. Pub sign at left hand corner on first floor is late C20 on a late C20 wrought iron bracket.
