Description
This is a house located at 4/6 Severn Side North Court Number 1, dating from the early 17th century, with mid-19th century and some 20th century alterations. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill and a tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays oriented north-east to south-west, and the chimney stack has been removed.
The south-west front has two storeys and includes two windows: a 2-light 20th century casement on the left and a 3-light casement on the right. On the ground floor, there is a 20th century bow window to the right and an entrance to the left with a 20th century boarded door. The original framing was designed with four square panels high, of which the upper two still survive. The gable truss features three struts to the collar and V-struts in the apex.
