4, 5 and 6, Severn Side North

Nos 4, 5, and 6 on Severn Side North are three houses built in the mid-18th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and late 20th century. They are constructed of brick and feature a tile roof. The buildings are two storeys tall, with an attic that is illuminated by three gabled dormers. A dentilled brick cornice runs along the top.

Each house has three windows: a 20-pane 20th-century sash, an 18th-century boxed flush glazing bar sash, and a 20th-century top hung casement, all set beneath rubbed brick heads with stone sills. On the ground floor, there are three canted bay windows from the 19th century, each with tripartite sashes and hipped tile roofs. The entrances are located to the left of each bay window.

The entrance for No 4 features a pedimented canopy supported by plain wooden struts, a plain wooden doorcase, an overlight, and a 20th-century panelled door with a fanlight. No 5 has a gabled canopy on wooden struts, a plain wooden doorcase, an overlight, and a 20th-century panelled door. No 6, on the right, has a plain wooden doorcase with a triangular head, an overlight, and a 20th-century panelled door.
