Nos 78 and 79 on Load Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and restaurant. The building features a timber frame that is clad in rendered brick and has a slate roof with a gable end stack. It stands three storeys tall and has two windows, including canted bay windows. The second floor has 4-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has a tiled shop front with a 3-pane display window. To the right of the shop front is an entrance with a glazed door, and at the right corner, there is another entrance featuring 20th-century fluted pilasters and a 6-panel door, which leads to a staircase. Inside, exposed ceiling beams are visible on the first floor.
