Description

Nos 58-62 on High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and offices, dating from around 1800. The building is constructed of random limestone rubble with a slate roof and features a brick stack. It stands three stories tall and has four bays. The shopfronts were updated in the late 20th century, except for the left side, which has a wide segmental archway that contains the remains of a late 19th-century shopfront, with a first-floor window above it. The first floor has 12-light sash windows set in plain stone architraves, while the eaves feature 9-light sashes with similar surrounds, except for the left side, which has a lower 12-light sash window.
