Description

No. 53 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. The building is rendered and has an asbestos slate roof. It stands three stories tall and features two bays with sash windows that have glazing bars, all set within moulded stone architraves. To the left, there is a late 19th-century shop casement with a cornice above it. The central entrance has a square-headed door opening framed by a moulded surround, topped with a triangular pediment. The building is further enhanced by end pilasters and a moulded cornice.
