Description
No. 45, including the north bay of No. 43, is a house and shop dating from around 1800. The building is rendered with a slate roof and has a brick stack on the right side. It is three storeys high and has three bays in its frontage, with the southern bay now part of No. 43, which is not included in this listing. The building features sash windows set in moulded stone architraves. In the center, there is a broad segmental arch gateway with a keystone and double planked doors. To the left side, there is a modern shopfront, while the right side has a late 19th-century shopfront. This building is primarily listed for its group value with other buildings in High Street.
