Description
Hill House Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and late 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a tile roof. The cottage has two framed bays that are aligned east to west, with a lateral stack on the north wall. The west gable is two storeys high and has a 2-light casement window above a 3-light casement window, which is jettied to the first floor. The entrance is located at the north-east corner and has a 20th-century brick porch. The framing consists of four square panels high with straight angle braces, and the truss has three struts to the collar with V-struts in the apex.
