Description

Knight House is a house dating to 1829, possibly designed by William Knight, with alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick, with a tile roof and stone-coped verges. It is a single-storey building with urn finials on pilastered corners. The central bay projects slightly and features a shallow gable bearing a shield and the date 1829, along with a modillioned eaves cornice. There are five windows, all with semi-circular heads. The central window is positioned above the entrance, which features a Tudor arch and a 20th-century panelled door. The building is noted in the Buildings of England, page 292.
