Description
This barn and stables, located approximately 10 metres to the north-west of No. 100 Amerie Court, likely dates from the mid 17th century to the mid 18th century, with some later alterations. It features a timber frame supported by a stone and brick plinth, with rendered infill that includes some brickwork. The roof is made of plain tiles and has a half-hipped design. The structure consists of two bays of square-panel timber framing, which includes long diagonal braces positioned below the mid-rail. The main entrance is a double door located at the left end of the southeast side. The interior showcases an adapted queen-post roof and joists that run at right angles. Carpenters' marks can be seen on the timbers.
