Description

This building is a barn located within the grounds of Central Garage at No. 2 Worcester Road in Pershore. It dates from the mid-17th century to the mid-18th century and has undergone some later alterations. The barn features a square-panel timber frame with brick nogging and honeycombed slit vents set on a rubblestone plinth. It has a plain tile roof and is likely composed of four bays. There are near-central opposing waggon entrances, although the entrance on Head Street has been blocked.

The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have roof trusses with tie-beams, collars, paired struts, and trenched purlins, along with 20th-century partitioning and workshops adjoining. This barn is an unusual survival in the town, especially given its proximity to High Street.
