Description

This building is a barn, now used as a garage, located 25 yards west of Gatehouse Farm House. It dates from the 18th century and features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with rendered infill in the exposed framing made of thin scantling. The roof is plain tiled and the barn has a rectangular shape with three framed bays. On the right side, there are leaded casement windows, and a single leaded casement window is positioned on the first floor to the left. In the center, there are renewed double wagon doors.

Inside, the barn has a Queen post and wind braced roof construction.
