Description

September Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with 20th-century extensions added to the right. The building has a timber frame with brown and red brick at the base, and tile hanging in a diamond pattern above. It features a plain tiled hipped roof with a large corbelled ridge stack located to the left of center, topped with round pots. The house is two storeys tall, with a gabled 20th-century bay that projects forward to the left and mock timbering on the first floor. The first floor has four irregular leaded casement windows. On the ground floor of the gabled bay, there is a part-glazed planked door. Additionally, there is a pent-roofed throughway extension at the right end.
