Description

The Old Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with 20th-century extensions on the left side. It features a timber frame set on a sandstone plinth, with exposed brick infill on the right and rear. The first floor on the left is tile hung. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, featuring end gablets. The building has two storeys and consists of three framed bays, with bracing visible on the first floor. There is a stack on the right side. The first floor has three diamond-pane, leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has two windows. A part-glazed door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by an open gabled porch. The left extension includes two windows on each floor and has irregular casement windows on the return extension that projects to the left end.
