Description
An 18th-century barn, now incorporating workshops, stands on Horne New Chapel Road. This timber-framed barn is clad in weatherboard and features a plain tiled half-hipped roof with elaborate scrollwork detailing. A weathervane is positioned at the west end. The barn is rectangular, comprising five framed bays. Three small windows are located to the right of the centre and at the right end. Full-height double wagon doors are found to the left of the centre, alongside a stable-style door to the right. A catslide extends to the rear right (southwest), and a pent roof extension is present at the east end. The barn is included on the list for its group value with a nearby house.
