Description
The barn at the former Lower Goldings Farm is likely from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is a timber-framed structure, with the exterior covered in weatherboarding and set on a brick base. The roof is half-hipped and tiled. The barn consists of three bays and has an aisle on one side. Inside, it features an angled queen strut roof with a ridgepiece and through purlins. The wall frame includes midrails and slightly curved tension braces, with jowled upright posts that have a cut profile.
