Description
This is a late 17th-century house with alterations from the 18th and 20th centuries. It is built with a timber frame, the areas between the timbers filled with rendered and painted brick, and has a tile roof. The house has three framed bays running east to west, with gable-end chimneys. The north front has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows, with a 1:3 window arrangement (one window to the left, then three windows). The windows are 2-light casements from the 20th century. The ground floor has similar windows. A small, late 20th-century extension on the west gable contains the entrance. The timber framing is characterized by three square panels in height, increased by one panel on the north front. The gable trusses have two struts to the collar.
