Description

Corner Thatch is a house dating from the 17th century that was restored in 1964. It has a timber-frame structure with rendered infill, standing on a rendered plinth, and features a half-hipped thatched roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned from north-east to south-west, with the entrance located in the south-west gable. There is a central stack on the rear (south-east) wall within an outshot. The house is one storey high with a gable-lit attic and has two windows, which are 2-light 20th-century casements. In the right corner, there is a thatched gabled brick projection that contains a post box. The framing of the house consists of three square panels high.
