Description

This chest tomb, dating from the early 19th century, is located about 10 yards west of the Sandys Mausoleum on the west side of Worcester Road in Ombersley. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a Greek Revival style. The tomb has a panelled moulding at the base, a moulded capping, corner pilasters, and shaped, fielded inscription panels. The inscriptions on the panels are currently illegible.
