Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1800, is located approximately 21 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary in Westbury. It is constructed from dressed grey sandstone and has a double-width plan. The tomb features a chamfered plinth, fluted square corner piers, recessed oval side panels, and a chamfered top with reeded edges. The inscription was illegible at the time of the survey in July 1985.
