Description

The Brook and Field memorial, located about 15 metres north of the nave of the Church of St Michael, is a chest tomb dating from the 1730s. It is constructed of ashlar and features three raised and fielded panels on the long sides, with one panel on each end. The top of the tomb is deeply moulded with a slight bevel on the upper side. There are various inscriptions on the tomb, most of which are illegible, but the date 1736 is clearly visible on the north side.
