Description
No. 3 Trotshill Lane East is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with wattle-and-daub infill and a tiled roof, along with brick stacks at the rear. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west, with a rear outshut.
The south front has one storey and a gable-lit attic. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century metal-framed casements, a two-light window on the left and a one-light window on the right. There is also a ledged door located at the left corner, and all openings are fitted with plank weatherings. The framing consists of three square panels high with straight tension braces, and the west gable features three queen struts supporting the collar.
