Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with wattle-and-daub infill and a half-hipped thatch roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned north to south and has an integral stack at the north gable. It is one storey high with a gable-lit attic and has two windows that are 2-light casements. The entrance is located through a lean-to porch on the north gable. The framing includes three square panels high and straight tension braces at the gable end.
