Description
Horshoe Cottage is a 17th-century house located in Woodgreen, Warndon. The building features a rendered timber-frame structure with wattle-and-daub infill and a tiled roof, with a rear stack. It consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west, and there are contemporary lean-tos on both gables. The cottage is one storey high with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light 19th-century casement windows, each with segmental heads, and doors at the outer ends that have wooden frames and segmental heads. Inside, the cottage has exposed ceiling beams and several 17th-century plank doors with strap hinges, along with some small areas of wall-framing that are visible.
