Description
10 College Precincts is a house that now serves as a boarding house for the King's School. It was probably built around 1830 and has seen later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond and features a plain tile roof. It stands four storeys tall and has one window on the first floor. The first floor has a 6/6 sash window, the second floor has an 8/8 sash window, and the third floor has a 4/8 sash window, all set in nearly flush frames. The first and second-floor windows are located under wider, cambered arches and show signs of having originally been larger openings. On the ground floor, there is a 3/3 fixed light window under a cambered arch. The entrance, located to the right, features a 6-flush-beaded-panel door also under a cambered arch. Inside, the building is noted for having plank doors. All the listed buildings in College Precincts create a cohesive group and contribute to the setting of Worcester Cathedral.
