House. c1760 with later additions and alterations. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with ashlar sills, keystones, cornice and copings and timber doorcase; concealed roof. 3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Ground and first floors have 6/6 sashes, second floor has Venetian window with 9/6 round-arched sash between 2/4 sashes; all windows have shaped sills. Ground and first loor have flat arches of gauged brick and keystones with incised design, except to first floor at centre a foliate design, all with cornices. Second floor window has round arch at centre and keystone with foliate motif surmounted by continuous shaped cornice. Parapet with shaped copings. Entrance at left a 6-raised-and-fielded-panel door with 3-pane overlight in fluted surround with cornice. INTERIOR: not inspected.

Nos 2-16 (consecutive) Edgar Street (qqv) form a significant group, together with Nos 28-34 (even) Sidbury; No.12 College Precincts; Tower House, No.1 Severn Street; and Edgar Tower, College Green (qqv). Edgar Street (in which all the buildings are listed) is a fine example of a Georgian street and it forms part of the setting for the Cathedral (qv).
