Description
Common Wood Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof with parapets at the gable ends and end stacks. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with a dentilled eaves cornice. It is arranged in three bays, with openings that have cambered heads. There are two ground floor three-light casements, three first floor cross-casements, and three second floor two-light casements. The central entrance is highlighted by a gabled metal canopy, a ledged and battened door, and a fanlight with a central glazing bar. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there is a two-storey lean-to addition.
