Description

Elmside Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The oldest part of the building faces the street and is two stories high with a two-unit plan. It features two-light casement windows on the front wall, a canted bay, and 12-pane sash windows in the gable. There is an axial stack. The rear wing, which is slightly later in date, has a four-panelled door beneath a canopy supported by a console in the angle, along with three 3-light casement windows beyond. Above these, there are six-pane sash windows and another axial stack.
