Description
The Old Rectory is a house that was formerly a rectory, built around 1830. It features a stucco exterior over a brick structure and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a square plan. The entrance is located at the front, which has two bays. To the right of the entrance, there is a six-panelled door with a traceried overlight, flanked by 8-pane windows, all beneath a wide Tuscan porch. To the left, there is a 12-pane sash window. A lower wing with two bays extends to the right, continuing the building line and featuring 12-pane sashes on both floors. The garden front includes a large full-height bow window on the right with three 12-pane sashes, and a canted bay to the left of it. The roof has a raised parapet and an axial stack, while there is a brick rear wing set on a rubble plinth.
