The Elms is a late 18th-century brick farmhouse. It is three storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with an overlight within a Doric pedimented case. Flanking the door are twelve-pane sash windows, each with a stuccoed flat arch and keystone. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The farmhouse has gable end stacks.
