Description

Manor House is a house that dates mainly from the early 18th century, although it has an earlier core. It is built of brick on a limestone plinth and features a plain tiled roof, but it is reputed to be timber framed within. The building has a main range and a cross wing in its layout, and it is two storeys high. The main range consists of two units, with a doorway located towards the angle in a rustic timber porch. On the right side of the doorway, there is a 3-light casement window with a cambered head on each floor. There is a blind bay to the right beyond this window. In the gabled cross wing, there are paired 3-light casement windows on each floor, and an axial stack is located in the wing.
