Description
The Manor House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with minor alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof, featuring two brick gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys plus a garret, with a five-bay front where the central bay is slightly advanced. There is a first-floor band and a cornice with modillions at the eaves. The central entrance features a 19th-century panelled door with a bordered overlight, flanked by pairs of glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has five similar windows. All openings are topped with splayed rubbed brick arches that have stepped keystones, and the undersides of the central arches are scalloped. At the rear, there is a single-storey lower service range with gabled dormers.
