Description
The stable block and cottage at Osbaston Hall date from the late 18th century. They are built of brick with stone dressings and feature a plain tiled roof. The structure consists of a long range of eight bays, with outer projecting gables. The lower gable forms a small two-unit cottage that has a central door with a fanlight and flanking sixteen-pane sash windows in its end wall. The inner elevation facing the courtyard includes doorways and windows with gauged brick heads, while the rear wall has more architectural detailing. The central section of the rear wall features paired blind recesses with blind oculi. A stone cornice with tiny dentils caps the wall, topped by small urns in the center.
