Description

Dogs Grave is a memorial located in The Park, Market Bosworth, commemorating a dog named Smut, who died in 1876. The grave is made of stone and features a tall pier raised on a pedestal, with stoops that carry carved doves at angles. It includes an inscription and a poem written by the dog's owner, Florence Dixie. The memorial is topped with a wide shallow bowl that also has carved doves.
