Description

This former barn, dating from the 18th century, is located adjacent to No 68 Berrington Road to the south. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The barn is divided into three bays aligned in a north-south direction. The central wagon bay has cart entries on opposite sides, with a cambered head to the west and a 20th-century door to the east. The south gable end displays sixteen tiers of sandstone alighting ledges and pigeon holes.

Inside, the roof is supported by intermediate queen post trusses, a similar truss at the north end, and a single tier of purlins.
