Description

68 Berrington Road is a house built in the late 17th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 20th century. It is constructed of handmade brick and has a plain tiled roof with a large brick stack at the rear. The house has two storeys and features a two-course band at the first floor level. It comprises three bays, with all windows being 20th-century casements. On the ground floor, there are two multi-paned bowed oriel windows and a cross-casement, while the first floor has three cross-casements.

The original doorway, located to the left of centre, features a moulded architrave inscribed with the date "1681" and a ledged and battened door, set beneath a semi-circular relieving arch.

Inside, the house retains its original staircase, which has splat balusters.
