Description
Tudor Rose Cottage is a small house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with painted brick and lath and plaster infill, topped by a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has two bays and an end stack that is partly enclosed by a later lean-to extension, with an additional stack at the rear. It is a single storey with an attic, and the central door is accompanied by a later porch. On either side of the entrance, there are two 2-light metal casements with surface leading. The gable end includes one 2-light metal casement in the attic, along with a similar window and a plain ledge door on the ground floor. The framing consists of three panels from the sill to the wall-plate, while the gable end features diagonal braces from the sill to the posts and V-struts in the gable.
