Description
Glazenbridge Cottage is a small house dating from the 17th century, with later additions. It features a timber-framed structure with painted brick infill on the ground floor, while the upper part is rendered. At the rear, there is a brick outshut, and the roof is tiled, added in the 20th century. The cottage consists of two bays and has an end stack that is enclosed in a 20th-century extension, with the entrance located in the west gable end. It is a single storey with an attic and has 20th-century windows, including a three-light window in each bay and in the extension. The framing includes three panels from the sill to the wall-plate, with a diagonal brace from the sill to the post on the right, and a brace that is broken on the left. The gable end is four panels wide, featuring two braces from the sill to the posts and two diagonal struts above the collar. Timber weathering is present above all the windows.
