Farmhouse. Mid-C18 with early Cl9 and mid-C20 additions and alterations. Brick, rendered to front elevation, part low pitched, hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves, part tiled, large brick stacks with oversailing cap courses to rear of main building. Two storeys and cellar; dentilled eaves cornice to rear part. C18 3 bay range of west/east axis enlarged early C19 by large 4 bay addition at west end, forming front elevation. Front elevation: 4 bays; all windows are glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves; ground floor window in fourth bay has side lights; ground floor windows have plank weatherings. Flat-roofed, brick porch projects from third bay; early C19 doorcase with pilasters, flat canopy and door with 6 raised and fielded-panels. Earlier part at rear; doors and windows have cambered heads; north elevation has 2 ground floor casements, 2 gabled dormers with casements, a planked and a multi-paned door. Interior Stop- chamfered main beams in older part.
