Description
Newhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has a large external brick chimney with offsets located at the right end, as well as another stack at the left end and one at the front of the ridge. The farmhouse stands three storeys tall and has a dentilled eaves cornice. It is arranged in three bays, with the left outer and central bays positioned closely together. The windows, which all have cambered heads, are 19th-century casements likely set in their original openings. There are three-light windows on the ground and first floors, and two-light windows on the second floor. The main entrance is situated between the central and right outer bays, featuring a lean-to half-glazed porch and a ledged and battened door.
