Description

Woodbine Cottage is a former house or outbuilding that later served as a post office. It dates from the early 17th century and was altered in the mid-20th century. The building is timber framed with painted brick and rendered infill, featuring replacement walling and a weatherboarded north gable end. It has a plain tiled roof and consists of a single framed bay aligned north to south. The structure is single storey with an attic, and the framing includes three panels from the sill to the wall plate, with no trusses visible externally. The west front elevation has a two-light and a single-light 20th-century casement window on the ground floor, along with a 20th-century door.
