Description

This granary, located about 140 yards south-west of The Farm, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof with parapets at the gable ends. The building has two levels and is adorned with a dentilled eaves cornice, along with diaper ventilation panels and header ventilation courses on the upper level.

The granary consists of four bays, with all openings featuring cambered heads. On the main south elevation, there are two 2-light windows, a cross-casement window, and four doors, two of which are stable doors. Additionally, there is a large archway at ground floor level. The upper level includes a large opening to the left and a door that is accessed by timber external steps. Attic lights are present in the gable ends. This granary is part of a group with the adjacent barn located to its west gable end.
