Description

The granary located to the north of Mill Farmhouse dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of English bond brick and features a pantiled roof, supported by four by three stone staddles. The main entrance is situated at the rear, and there are windows in the gables that provide light to the attic space. Inside, the granary has a three-quarter floored layout and a single purlin roof with a plated ridge, resting on heavy principal beams. The roof structure includes a queen strut truss with a central door opening.
