Description
Mill Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features Flemish brickwork with flush stone quoins and has a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, with a cellar and attics, and consists of three bays. The main elevation faces east and is symmetrical. It has a central six-panelled door that is framed by a stone architrave and a pediment supported by consoles, accessed by four steps. On either side of the door are paired twelve-paned sash windows set in bead moulded stone surrounds, while there is also a twelve-pane sash window with rounded upper corners above the door, which has a key block. The roof is hipped and includes two hipped dormers. At the rear wall, there are three external brick stacks for flues.
