Description
These hop kilns date from the mid-18th century and are located about one yard south of Lambswick Farmhouse. They are built of brick with a plain tiled roof and have two levels, with a basement at the rear. The kilns consist of two bays, with one kiln in each bay. The west elevation has, on the ground floor, two cross-casements. Above, the upper level has two two-light casements. Two skylights are present in the left bay. A square base for a cowl projects from the roof ridge above each kiln. Access to the basement is at the rear only, due to a change in ground level.
