TENBURY CP MARKET SQUARE (south side) SO 5868 - 5968 8/117 Nos 16 and 17 6.10.52

GV II

House divided into two. C17, altered early C19 and mid-C20. Timber-framed with painted brick and rendered infill, stuccoed at ground floor level with plain tiled roof and rear brick stack. Two framed bays aligned east/west. Two storeys and attic. Framing: four and five panels from first floor level to wall-plate, long straight braces in lower corners at east end, collar and tie-beam trusses with struts and V-struts above collar at gable ends. North front elevation: two ground floor and first floor 6-pane sashes. Ground floor windows have raised keyblocks. Both entrances have flat canopies on moulded corbels, moulded architraves and half-glazed C19 doors. Attic lights at gable ends.
