Description

These railings, located about three yards east of No 4 in Tenbury's Market Square, date from the early 19th century and are made of cast iron. They stretch approximately 16 yards in length and feature dog rails with slender standards placed at about 1½ yard intervals, each topped with urn finials. On the west side, the standards are supported by scroll-shaped brackets. There is also a central 20th-century gateway that mimics the original design. These railings are included for their group value.
