Description

Lady Huntingdon's Chapel is a former chapel dated 1825. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof behind parapets. The building has a three-course band at the eaves level and a three-bay plan. The south elevation includes large multi-paned windows with semi-circular heads, while the west gable end has two additional windows flanking a later gabled brick porch. The porch features a pointed arch with a dropped keyblock and imposts, double planked doors, a barred segmental fanlight, and stained glass pointed arched windows in the side walls. Inside, the chapel retains a staircase and a panelled gallery.
